About this service

We provide a complete dental imaging service for general dentists, orthodontists and oral surgeons — OPG, lateral cephalometric (lat ceph), TMJ views and 3D dental cone-beam CT for implant planning.

What to expect

Most dental studies take less than ten minutes. You stand in front of the unit while the X-ray tube and detector rotate around your head. You will be asked to bite gently on a positioning post and stay still.

Preparation

No preparation needed. Remove jewellery, glasses, hearing aids and any metal hairpieces before the scan.

Results and reports

A sub-specialised radiologist will read your scan and send a comprehensive report directly to your referring GP or specialist the next business day. Your referrer will discuss the results with you at your follow-up appointment.

Bulk billing

Most dental imaging examinations are bulk-billed for eligible patients. Our team will confirm any out-of-pocket costs when you book.
