About this service
Sub-specialised musculoskeletal radiologists report your sport, joint and spine imaging. We perform diagnostic ultrasound, MRI and CT, and a full range of image-guided injections for pain management.
What to expect
Diagnostic studies follow the standard protocol for the modality. For an image-guided injection, the radiologist explains the procedure, the skin is cleaned, local anaesthetic is given, and the medication is delivered under live imaging guidance.
No fasting needed. If you take blood thinners, please tell us when booking.
Results and reports
A sub-specialised radiologist will read your scan and send a comprehensive report directly to your referring GP or specialist the next business day. Your referrer will discuss the results with you at your follow-up appointment.
Bulk billing
Most musculoskeletal imaging examinations are bulk-billed for eligible patients. Our team will confirm any out-of-pocket costs when you book.
